Hello people,

Well, in my teens and twenties I never had a problem with weight or my health and my eyesight was perfect too. In fact, I never was a “fat” person until about my late 30’s after I gave birth to six beautiful children. After I was diagnosed -mental illness (to which I still won’t totally accept) and put on drugs that make you gain weight I began to have health problems like obesity and diabetes. I have struggled with body acceptance on and off for the past ten years and finally decided this diabetes and obesity is NOT going to win in my life. I’m going to fight. I have to because if I don’t I’ll dye young. I’m only 47 and I have a lot more living to do. I hope to make this blog an encouraging place for others who also struggle to stay/become fit and healthy.
